At Ketton Early Birds we encourage independence, learning through play, and social responsibility. We help to prepare our pre-school children for their next steps, and provide a fun, well-appointed and secure setting for out of school care. Each member of staff is motivated and caring, and we ensure that their own development is also an area of focus to keep our standards at the highest level.
We are situated in a purpose built, modular building on the Kedington Primary School site which also offers an exciting outdoors area in which children are encourages to explore, learn and have fun. The pre-school caters for children aged from two and a half up to five years. We use the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum as guidance and have a strong focus on the individual, working closely with parents or carers to ensure our activities are tailored to each child’s specific development needs.
We keep a list of staff qualifications and photos on the noticeboard and they can also be found in our Operational Plan, in accordance with Ofsted recommendations. A list of the committee officers are also on the notice board. Please feel free to contact any of us regarding any aspect of the pre-school, or to volunteer for any duties.
