Our Fundraising Story

Ketton Early Birds is a much loved and fully subscribed pre-school and out of school care setting. Our caring team provides a fun and stimulating environment for 2.5 to 10 year olds. With a nurturing and all-inclusive approach for learning through play by exploring, investigating and developing communication skills. We attract families from the surrounding villages and Haverhill, as well as within our own community of Kedington. Our approach and growth have been a testament to our success since our establishment in 1969.

Our numbers are increasing and we find ourselves in need of more space where we can support specific groups of children. A calming space; somewhere for our new transitioning toddlers, a sensory space for those with additional needs, and space for older children to feel a sense of belonging. While we already successfully cater for all ages within a large and busy room, we need your help to achieve this by converting our existing garage. With a combined fundraising target of £30,000. As a registered charity, our mission is to raise these funds under challenging circumstances, childcare settings are underfunded, with the added strain of the cost of living crisis, some are already being forced to close.
